Libby and I delivered tins of cookies this Christmas Eve-day-afternoon. We had a great time bringing goodies to our friends.
I especially liked the hugs, viewing the decorations, seeing friends I don't see nearly enough AND getting rid of surplus cookie tins.
Carolyn's hedgehog ornaments and newest Santa picture are just so uniquely her. Libby really liked Lisa and Larry's split level ranch and the smell of garlic in the house as Lisa prepared to make Lasagnas. Yummy. We both marveled at how much our daughters had grown up! Charlotte happily placed her tin of cookies beneath her large Christmas tree, piled high with presents. Didn't stay long at Char's because she was busy cleaning up somebody else's garage mess and it's cold outside. Brrrr... With hugs and well wishes and cookies delivered, we returned a warm home and fragrance of freshly baked apple pie.
So nice to be with dear people at this special time of year!
Hope your Christmas is Merry and bright!
