The background is a photo copy of the back of an old photograph with interesting typeface, then I sprayed Adirondack color washes and lemon zest dylusions ink and let it mingle. I heat set the inks then placed a packing tape photo transfer of this sweet gal onto this colorful card.
Next up, embellishments, my favorite part of any project! The yellow flower is from Recollections topped off with a sparkling flower from my stash of bling-y things. Glued down with Aleene's tacky glue, so you know its not going anywhere!
The golden lanterns are German scrap from ARTchix, which I outlined with a black gelato and filled with yellow gelato. Now all elements of this ATC glow, don't you think? Last but not least a black Dymo label. GLOW.
Whenever trying out new products, such as the spray inks, I like to experiment and use them on ATC sized scraps of paper or cardboard.
I've learned so much by doing this and somehow I don't feel intimidated or wasteful by trying techniques on a pile of recycled paper.
What's got you humming and happy right now?
Hope you're having fun.
