Happy July!

simply grateful tag journal

Hello friends...so happy you stopped by today!

My simply grateful journal is made of manila tags.  Isn't it fun?
Tags were bound together with my Fellowes (office comb binder) AFTER I decorated them up with spray inks (Adirondack, dylusions, Tattered Angels and Luminarte).  Lots of colors and water and messiness!  So much F-U-N

July 1st entry

I decided July would be gratitude month for me, so in this journal I'll write what makes my day(s) great.  Easy to do in this limited space and I can embellish it simply too.

cover embellishment

This close-up shows some detail of the cover, after inks dried I applied some text with a stamp and black ink (StazOn) all over.  The silver bracelet bit is tied with a little yellow ribbon and glued down. (Aleene's tacky glue)

4398 tree marker tag

I've had this aluminum tag for a while now and it hung out in my miscellaneous metal collection for years, just waiting to be used here.
Added a little "age" to it with a black gelato. (Faber Castell)

Last but not least, my ATC for today...

I am joyful these days AND grateful for all the blessings in my life, so this ATC comes from my heart.   Hoping you have a joyful July dear ones!

Peace,
Donna
