Gelli plate printing with Lora

Happy artists

The best way to spend a Winter Saturday is making art with friends!  Lora came over to the mustard studio and we Gelli plate printed the day away.

Lora's prints

Lora used her Gelli plate for the first time and worked it like a pro.  Seriously, how cool are these prints?

Neon prints

Very pretty and neat prints.

My messy prints

My working style is a bit messier than Lora's and yet we happily printed alongside each other all day long :)   I did a lot of printing on old book pages and graph paper.  Lora printed on tags and clean white paper.

Lora's neat workspace

Neat printing and fun prints made here.

My messy bench

Chaos and messiness and fun prints made here too.

My mess and a few tags

Have you tried Gelli printing?  This is a wonderful way to make unique, colorful, fun prints.  And a GREAT way to spend a Winter afternoon!

Libby visited and drew as we printed and painted the day away.  She took the awesome picture of Lora and me.

I hope you take time to make something that makes you happy.  I am so glad Lora and I made time for this great play date!
