I started by cutting out these two "chickens", then tried them in front of several ATC blanks until finding this one. The darkness of this photo contrasted nicely with the brightness of the background while also tying things together with pink, green and blues of Mabel and Walter.
After gluing the image down, these eggs seemed to fit and make a great fence and backdrop for ECCENTRIC Dymo label.
Lastly, I highlighted the edge of the card with brown marker.
This card came together in less than 10 minutes. It's always a bonus to me when I get a snippet of a story or unique title to add to the back of an ATC.

I try to sign, date, label my artwork, do YOU? My Mom prints great labels on fabric which she uses on the backing of her gorgeous quilts.
How do you sign your work?
