Drinking tea(red rose) with my Memere was a great treat because it was always served with Pecan Sandies for dunking. Sweet milky tea reminds me of our time together.

Aunt Mary liked her tea weak and black, as soon as the hot water got poured over the bag she'd pluck it out and save it for another use or 2 :) She'd come see me at Dominick's Restaurant(my 1st waitressing job) and have a cup of tea (of course) which we put into those little metal pots. Aunt Mary once sputtered about how strong the tea was because I'd left it in the pot for an entire minute! lol
Mom has taken me to a lovely little tea house in Dade City, FLA, it's a great place to have lunch, drink tea and make sweet new tea memories. ♥♥♥♥♥
This canister, a gift from Mom, has held tea bags for over 40 years, the fragrance it holds carries me back in time. Time and people have passed but the memories and love expressed over cups of tea, will never leave me.
Peace to you,
PS. I still love coffee mind you, but for a whole other bunch of reasons, which I'll share soon.
PSS. Thanks for stopping by
