My calendar says Saturday 1/13/18 is National sticker day. Saw that and went to town making stickers with my Xyron machine and rubber stamps.

Using painted and recycle magazine papers for stamping, makes for fun backgrounds.

These butterflies were stenciled onto contact paper. Take the paper backing off and you've got stickers.

Gelli printed Avery full sheet sticker paper was stamped with swirl stamp and then circle punched out. No idea where I'll use them but this design is a lifelong fave.

Drew a peace sign directly onto speedy carve rubber and decided to put words throughout the design. Anybody know what's wrong with this picture? I bet Julie would! ha ha ha

Carved the entire peace sign, so excited was I...only to realize that all the words were backwards when printed.
It wasn't a complete waste because I stamped it onto fresh carving rubber which made lettering right and got carving. (again)

backwards words |
Backwards words for the WIN. Shaking my head, hoping to remember this lesson next time words go on a design.
The final stamp came out great and hey I got more carving practice out of the deal too! Each XYRON CREATE a STICKER cartridge has 20 feet of adhesive so I plan on making some more funky, unique stickers.

What images would you stickerize? Nothing in the studio is safe now, any papers could be transformed forever. teehee
Happy National Sticker Day all!
